I'm interested in recommendations for low run off-set printing. I had a terrible experience with a Canadian printer for my first issue, and have been using digital printing since. However, I'm less than thrilled with the way many graphics and photos print using this method. Anyone have a recommendation for me?

Hi Sara. Today Bo Sacks sent out a link to Rex Hammonds blog that had an article that might be of interest to you. Summary: MagCloud is an HP Labs research project evaluating new web services that will provide small independent magazine publishers, online content owners, and small businesses the ability to custom publish digitized magazines and economically print and fulfill on demand.

How low of a run are you talking about?
In order to make economic sense you'd have to print a few thousand copies.
